SHIBOLET 2011  Multi-media installation: Scrap steel, plastic shavings, wire, bolts and nuts, roofing nails, wax, gold buckets, wood, copper tubing, thresher blades, yellow powder,   ventilation  system  parts, wool, chains, wax, milk, bricks, leather straps, roofing nails, rope    Saw blade sculpture:   7 ft x 5.5 ft x 1 ft   Paintings: Mixed media, household chemicals, seeds, straw, tar, metal washers    Video: looped 2 second video     2,500 sq.ft, various dimensions  Shibolet transforms the front gallery space of Area 405 (Baltimore, MD) into a factory of abandon with re-purposed and found object assemblages, video, and paintings. The multi media installation investigates the severance of perceptions of place and people through historical materiality.
